The Boy Who Wanted To Become a Man But Became a Woman

While sin is very attractive and appealing to the eye, seductive in its wiles. It is like a strange woman of whom the wise man warned the unwise men of her chants for the end of her is toxic.

Proverbs 5:3-4 (KJV) For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

Well, no wise man dares to “fall in love “ with a strange woman knowing that her legs do not abide in her house. Yet if it happens that he is ensnared to an entanglement the marriage though unpleasant demands for tolerance because, due to the demands of the law of sin he is under, Romans 7:23 (KJV) “ But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”, voluntary divorce is not an option.

That was the story of a boy who ended up marrying a prostitute because he was infatuated.  But one day the boy became a man, man enough to divorce his beloved. “Enough is enough!”, he said. “I deserve better, I want something better than just sex and good vibes, I want love. I want something worth living for and without this thing life has no meaning, I’m better off dead. I want the real deal.” This was the cry of His heart. The unuttered groanings of His spirit that words failed to express. Not even the heart knew what it wanted, but one thing is clear; there is a deeper yearning of the soul. There is a thirst that the world “the strange woman “ could not fulfill despite how very well packaged she was.

There is a problem though, an unforeseen problem, a deadly term in the marriage certificate that the boy never got to read or even if he did, he never paid close attention to its striking intensity, because he was in such a rush to bed the hoe. The law demanded the life of him before he could divorce the hoe. The law was as cruel as its binder. Blood was required and so was life. there was no scape goat. You stay you suffer you leave you die. Choose your cup of poison.

Luckily for him, there was a scape lamb.

There was one who read the mind and searched the reigns of the heart and discerned that which the heart wanted but could not tell and more than that, there was on who was willing to die for his sake, that a soul so unworthy like Him whose worth had been reduced from an infinite price of the Spirit of God to that of a prostitute, man-hood sold affordably enough to sin. Even still, He stood a precious pearl to this man, the scape lamb. But the lamb had a price an infinite price, one rigid condition that the boy who had now gathered up some loins to reclaim his lost manhood was to pay. The boy now a man was to be converted to be a woman. That was the price to pay. His manhood for Love what a price. A hard thing to ask of a man, isn’t it?

So, Love has a price and the price is a relationship with God which means all the will is surrendered to him. All the decisions are made by him because we trust in him that he loves us and he will not do anything to harm us. “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ’” — Jeremiah 29:11.

Because it’s dangerous to be single ….and in this case single would mean, its dangerous to have our own mind and heart as a guide in this evil world. But why? Because… “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Not to for also that: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12).

God calls us out of our singleness where we seek prostitutes as the substitutes of love; an ever-failing help. He calls us to a marriage that we maybe one with him. Genesis 2:24 (KJV) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Christ left heaven and took upon him humanity, that he may unite it with divinity that in our own sinful flesh we can be subject to the mind of God which will subdue all our wicked passions and make us holy just as he is. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians 2:5). Allow today the mind of Christ to become yours.

Prayer:

Lord, I have wandered far from thee I have sought the world but it couldn’t fill me, but today I realize that true fulfillment comes from a union with you, oh lord! Make me one with you. Cleanse my past sin and dross. Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Remind me every day to recommit myself to you for the devil seeks my life and peace and when lord I might have fallen which I pray it never happens remind me that you accept sinners and you are a friend of them. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
